Welcome to the Galano Club.

The Galano Club is a 12 - step recovery club that provides meeting space for Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Narcotics Anonymous, and Sexual Compulsives Anonymous meetings.

The Club also provides a place to socialize and enjoy the fellowship of others in recovery. While our membership is made up of primarily bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgendered people, everyone is welcome.

Galano Club Philosophy

The Galano Club provides a safe place where Lesbian, Gay, Bi Sexual, Transgender, and Questioning people can participate in 12 step recovery programs, attend meetings, and socialize with each other. Its survival depends upon active members and volunteer work. We as individuals foster our own recovery through associating with other people at the Club who are in 12 step programs. We keep what we have by giving it away. We need the Club. The Club needs us. Contribute. Benefit.

We often hear the question “What do I get as a Galano Club member?” Well, very little or a lot depending on how you look at it. What you do get is the knowledge and satisfaction that you are supporting and insuring the long-term success of the Galano Club. That you will have a safe place for 12-step meetings and that you will also be a part of a social organization for those in recovery. Library privileges, voting rights, service work, serving on a committee are all Club and recovery benefits. We need the Club, the Club needs us. We are the Club. Join. Support.
